A new operating model for mining

The operator should not have to stand next to the risk.

Harnec is an early-stage company building toward mining operations designed around teleoperation, mixed robotic fleets, and autonomy earned task by task.

Move the person. Keep the judgment. Redesign the machine system around both.

Mining robotics is often discussed as a choice between a person in the cab and a machine acting alone. Harnec starts from a different premise: remote human presence can be the operating foundation.

From that foundation, machines can be designed, instrumented, and coordinated as a fleet. Autonomy enters only where a task is narrow, its state is legible, and the fallback is clear.

Harnec does not yet claim an active operation, deployed fleet, or commercial machine. The work now is to turn a coherent operating thesis into the right technical and operating relationships.
